A foldable Smartphone from the Samsung Galaxy Z series, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. This product was announced in august 2022 and it is scheduled to be released either later in the month or at the beginning of September.
Design
The Z Flip 4 sports an aluminum frame and the same clamshell form as the original Z Flip. Its Samsung 6.7-inch display is protected by ultra-thin glass and can be folded into a 4.2-inch space. The Samsung logo may be seen near the hinge’s center once it has been folded. Additionally, a 1.9-inch cover screen is used. Users are now able to download widgets, such as music, weather, alarm, Timer Voice recorder, Samsung Health, the current schedule, and Bluetooth. There are four color options for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: Graphite, Pink Gold, Bora Purple, and blue.

- Two screens make up the Galaxy Z Flip 4: a 6.7-inch foldable inner panel with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate and a 1.9-inch cover display.
- The device contains 8 GB of RAM and Either 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. Sometimes a micro card cannot accept an SD card
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powering the Z Flip 4
- The battery that comes with the gadget is a 3700 MAH dual-cell unit that can be quickly charged using USB-C up to 25 W or wireless charging up to 10 W.
- Two back cameras on the Z Flip 4 include a 12 MP wide-angle camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. At the front of the display, there is a 10 MP camera.
SoftwareÂ
One UI 4.1, based on Android 12, comes preinstalled on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Folding Samsung Galaxy
The first device in the Galaxy Z series and the only one not sold under the “Z” moniker was the Samsung Galaxy fold. On February 20, 2019, it was announced, and on September 6, 2019, it was made available in South Korea. On December 12, a variant of the handset known as the Samsung w20 5G that was released just for China Telecom had a faster snapdragon 855+ chipset and a distinctive white finish.
Flip Samsung Galaxy ZÂ
The first product to be offered under the “Z” brand was the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, followed by the Z Flip 5G on 14 February 2020 and 7 August 2020, respectively.
The second iteration of Samsung’s outward fold design established with the original fold, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G was announced on September 18, 2020. It has a much larger front screen than its predecessor, a folding screen with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz, thin bezels, and enhanced cameras. In November 2020, a high-end model known as the Samsung W21 5G was announced specifically for the Chinese market. On August 11, 2021, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, the company’s third iteration of folding phones.
The Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are both IPX8 water resistant and have more robust materials and hinges.
European rebranding
In the baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, Samsung started to covertly rebrand the current Galaxy Fold and Flip devices in March 2022 in order to erase the “Z” marking from their titles. Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, this is done for sensitivity reasons since the letter “Z” has been employed as a symbol by the Russian military and as a symbol of support for the war by Russian citizens.
